The Society has very experienced and dedicated teachers who conduct Qigong courses in English and Chinese on a regular basis. Classes are held once a week and from 8pm to 10pm at the Society premises.
Three modules of Zhineng Qigong are offered at the Society's training center:
- 8 weeks
This is the introductory course in Zhineng Qigong. This class comprises Peng Qi Guan Ding (Qi Exchange), San Xing Ping Zhan Zhuang (Three Centres Merge Standing Meditation) Methods. Peng Qi Guan Ding is an external qi practice that brings universal qi into the body and improves the quantum and quality of the bodily qi. San Xing Ping Zhan Zhuang helps to regulate qi, bringing it deeper into the body. It also serves an important function of relaxing the body.
Body & Mind
- 10 weeks
This comprises Xing Shen Zhuang (Body & Mind) Method. Xing Shen Zhuang is an internal qi practice and has ten steps, each of which induces qi into different parts of the body. By practising Xing Shen Zhuang, the major joints and organs in our body will be filled with abundant qi.
Five Element Unified Form
- 16 weeks
This is an advanced course in Zhineng Qigong. Participants are expected to have practised Zhineng Qigong for some years before taking up this practice. This class comprises Wu Yuan Zhuang (Five Element Unified Method) and Zhan Zhen Gui Yuan Fa (an abridged version of Wu Yuan Zhuang). Wu Yuan Zhuang hasthirteen steps and the middle five steps are focused on improving qi flow into the heart, kidneys, lung, liver and spleen.
To achieve good health, one needs to learn and practice Module 1 regularly to harness the external universal qi into the body. Module 2 helps the practitioner to regulate the internal qi in his body and achieve greater and faster health benefits. Module 3 is for more advanced practitioners and focused on using sound and movements to activate the qi in the five organs namely the heart, kidneys, spleen, liver and lungs.
Along with these modules, extra forms of Zhineng Qigong are also taught:
